We all love cupcakes. Kids especially and they are not difficult to make if you know how. They can be really tasty treat for kids but its even better if you get the young ones involved in making them. We have a really simple but effective recipe here for making the perfect fluffy cupcakes for your little ones to help make. For th

is recipe you wont need a set of scale beacuse w ehave measured wverything out in cups. The cups methods makes it much easier for children to get invloved int he baking process and it also mean less clean up when your done which I’m sure you will agree is very handy indeed. You will need:

  • 2 of cups flour
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1cup butter, softened
  • 3cup sugar (if you like your cupcakes sweet then add some more)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (this is optional)

These measurement will make about 20-25 cupcakes but if thats too much just cut all the ingredients in half and you can make less. These are perfect for parties so double down if you want to feed all your friends and family.

Step One: First of you will need to preheat your oven to 375f or 190c. Leave that to heat up while you and the kids get on with step two.

Step Two: Line your baking trays and muffin cups with grease proof paper.

Step Three: Cream your butter and sugar together until it is light and fluffy. Melt your butter in the microwave slightly beforehand to make this easier. Beat in one egg at a time.

Step Four: Mix you flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Using a sieve will make your cakes fluffier. Add in a little milk and beat. Continue this process until you have use the entire cup of milk. This would be the point you would add your vanilla if you want.

Step Five: Divide the mixture evnly between your muffin cups and bake for 18 minutes. Once they are cool you can decorate them if you so wish.

Step Six: Enjoy!
